She hated him right then, she hated everything about him. But Kimmy settled and did nothing, sulking, quietly, fighting down the smell of his blood, fighting against the pain.

It was a good thing then that the feeling was mutual. He didn't carry her far- just far enough. There was a little garderners shed in the park, and though mostly filled with tools, there was also a bed for the watchman who worked nights - apparently some of the statues in the park were worth something.
