It was Spring Break and the children of Gaia were free from the tyranny of school for an entire week. That meant teachers got out too. A certain Headmistress was taking full advantage of this. Sophia had gone to Rave and Sere, asked for the house in France and was given a key. Taking it back to Hayden, she'd presented him with the idea and managed to convince the King of a much needed vacation. JC was going to stay with Amber and Rand because she and Cissy "had plans" and Kary was staying with Rave and Sere. It was supposed to be just the two of them... And then Lucy jumped on the bandwagon. She had quite the memories from the house in France and wanted to share them with Pol. Kayden and Bets were going to be left with Kip and Cali.
Sophia lead Hayden inside. The house was huge- Rivaled only by the Crystal Castle and the Andalusian Manor. "Its beautiful." She murmured, eyes moving over everything. The foyer contained the large master staircase, and lead into the double parlors. Though there were the entrances to the solarium and the formal dining room. Behind the walls, like a maze were the servants entrances so they could move without disturbing the home's occupants- Not that Serephine had ever had servants while they lived in the house. Unbeknownst to Sophia and Pol, the Blacks hadn't dismissed the servants as they were supposed to.
Lucy smirked as she tugged Pol in after them. "Its just like I remember." She told the three of them, leaning against her husband's side. The house hadn't changed- Not that it was a surprise that Sere's classic decorating style had outlasted the test of time. The servants had kept the manor in flawless condition. When you hire the best, you get the best service. And the Princess appreciated good help. Not that this whole elitist attitude wasn't currently a coverup because our Lu missed her babies. She'd been away from them for two hours and already, she wanted to call her Mother and check up on them...
Sophia was feeling a similar tug of guilt. JC would love it here. There was so much ornate detail in the house and the land was breathtaking. She would have taken the most fantastic photos- And Kary would have loved the utter decadence. Was she a bad person for leaving them behind? Was she being a burden on Amber and Sere by leaving her sisters with them? Looking over at Hayden, she gave him a smile- In reality, they needed this.
