"Why are you doing this to me? To us?" She whispered, but her voice was picked up by the mircophone. "I don't, I don't understand..." she'd trusted him.

"Charity, Charity, Charity." His voice sounded, and the doors clicked open. Josh, in all his deviant glory, stood before her once more. "You don't understand that this is the way it has to be?" He cooed, tauntingly. "Good against Evil- war of the races, survival of the mortal race against the monsters in the night?"
"You told me yourself, our daughter- the little beast - holds the key to your own destruction." His voice was velvet, and she'd never been so scared of him, Josh could see it in her eyes. "Little Gracey is the best thing you'll ever do with your pathetic little life."

She tried to run at him, to hit out at him, but bullets flew, catching her pelvis and legs and Charity crumbled to the floor, sobbing. Her wrists broken where the chains had snapped at awkward angles. Her hair fell in her face and she lay against the padded white matting. Josh's laughter driving her to the edge of her tether.

"You silly silly girl." He taunted, and bent to her level. Josh snapped the chain around her neck and broke away the penguin pendant and his engagement ring she wore there. "See if you can get a tracer of this." He tossed the pendant to a guard, and pocketed the ring. "You didn't think I knew did you?" He cooed.
"Your little set up? Trap the mortal? It was all a game to you wasn't it, bitch?" He smiled. "Still, whose laughing now?"

He left, and Charity lay there, loosing blood. Her vision swam in and out serval times along with her consciousness. Her mind blinking in and out of his guarded state. As it did, her mind connected with her fellow sisters, the secret keepers and her family.

Lucy left Kayden and Pol with no explanation- Just blinked to Charity. The pain had taken her breath away. She couldn't trust Beth or Daisy to do this without getting themselves hurt- Loo was the warrior of the group by genetics alone. "Stupid you." She murmured softly, coming to hold Chat. "Why didn't you call me sooner?"
