Quarentine -School Staff/Kids-

[Bails]

The first cool stretch of Autumn had fallen upon Gaia. Daisy stood in her office starring out the window. It wasn't that it was unbearably cold but her body wasn't so happy this morning. Hugging the wool sweater tighter around her, she couldn't help but smile. The newest Black- Godric would arrive into this world in May. A Spring baby.

Now she was planning. Did she want a boy or a girl? If they had a boy, they'd have two of each. For names she tried to think of ones she liked that began with S- Again, for the whole pairs thing. Balance. A certain sense of euphoria filed the Elf. A hope for good things to come for her family. Maybe it was time things started coming up rosy.

"Miss?" A voice interrupted her reverie. Turning, she saw a familiar face. It was Briar, the vampire from Parker's class. Only instead of being the dashing young lad with the jet hair, tanned skin and chocolate eyes, he was sallow and pinched. Clutching a hallpass in his hand, it meant he wasn't here for bad behavior.

"Come in."

He didn't seem to be able to focus as he wavered as he walked, collapsing into the chair. "I'm feeling poorly Miss. Sir- He sent me here to see you." The tough little vampire's voice shook like he was going to cry. "I can't blink."

A Mother first, Daisy put a hand on his shoulder. She could feel the fever through his shirt which was funny as vampires are known for being cooler. "Oh, Briar, you probably can't because you're sick." Rubbing his shoulder, she noticed a rash up the back of his neck. Lifting away his collar, she looked down. The skin of his back was beat red and parts looked almost raw.

"Miss!" He tugged away but opened his mouth to gag. Just as she passed him the bucket, he began to vomit up a torrent of blood. He coughed and retched before wiping his mouth off. "Sorry."

Daisy shook her head, "Don't apologize. Im going to go get Headmistress' secretary to run and get a healer. Stay here for a second, sweetie, and then I'll take you to the infirmary." Stepping out into the hall, she was about to go to Sophia's office when she came out. The hem of her shirt was marked with blood. "Oh my Goddess!"

Sophia raised her hand, "It's not mind, Daisy." She turned to look back in the office. "Elaine-" the secretary, "she passed out after throwing up blood."

"I have a student too."

The witch crossed her arms over her chest. "Daisy, I think we have a problem."

[*Gem*]

"Serves him right." Nate muttered.

"You did this didnt you?" one of Briars mates lunged at Nate, knocking him from his seat and to the ground. "Briar looked really sick and your trying to kill him, if hes dead elf, i swear, I swear Ill-" He hissed, baring his fangs.

Nate struggled. "Get off me, I didnt do anything to him.

Their teacher, Prof Lumley had been called out of the room ten minutes previous and the boys had soon seen the others teachers marching down the hall, the classes left. Now that was odd. Really odd.

Nate even felt a lttle bit guilty for what hed said, he loathed the vampires in his class, but he wouldnt make them die or nothing.

One of the other boys in the class started shaking and vomiting, falling off his chair, and thus Nate was saved from being fang soup as the boys all rushed around the dark one.

"ill..Ill go get some help." nate offered, and looked at Parker. "Are you feeling ok?" He asked him quickly, after all, so far only the dark ones had fallen sick. "come with me?" He was going to keep a strong eye on his best friend.

[Bails]

Parker nodded and followed Nate. "What's happening?" He asked, watching and listening- Hearing the teachers' hushed whispers as they moved just in front of them.

[*Gem*]

"I don't know. I recon we go find miss Daisy though..dont you?"

[Bails]

He paused, "What about Sam?"

[*Gem*]

Nate paused. "Shes probably fine I mean shes with her class, Parker, and so far, I dont feel poorly, its just the dark ceatures that have ..hit the deck."

[Bails]

"Then what about Isla, huh-" He stopped, "I need to make sure they're safe."

[*Gem*]

Nate ran his hand through his hair. "Im not leaving you old chap. Cant we go find Miss Daisy first? I bet shed want to go straight to Sammy to."
