Charlotte fixed her shirt, though when she turned, she'd left a button or two undone so she didn't look like such a school marm. "Eric would love that since I cried the first two days I got it."

Charlie blushed as she nodded and leaned back in her chair. "I was still really battling with who I was. I thought the tattoo made me irredeemable. Then I learned it was part of who I am and that it was okay. Eric's Mom taught me that when I was living with her."

"Your folks sound almost as Bad as Tex's. I mean they adore him now, because his Dad says so, because his dad loves the money Tex just gives them, he rarely keeps much for himself. These days he spoils maggie too, but thats besids the point. In the beginning his Dad went mad, wants Tex to be a lawyer, like all the men in their family, and his moms to opressed to say differently."
