She watched him float up to the ledge, and with a smile Sammy vanished, blinking to beside him once more; she reappeared on the cliff top, feet landing neatly on the grey stone. Sammy fanned out her dark hair and continued to smile.

Noticing her reappearance, Henry thought, So "blinking" is what she calls teleportation. It's a lot less flashy and more efficient than mine it seems. However, on the outside all he showed was a raised eyebrow. Continuing on into the cave entrance, he gestured to the "No Trespassing" signs and said, "Disregard them. After all, I'm inviting you inside."
Further in, Henry walked past a few statues that looked like poor sculptures of humanoids, each with slabs of rock for the arms, legs, and torso, with a rounded rock studded with gems for a head. Approaching a part of the entrance tunnel that was slightly beyond the light afforded by the entrance, he turned and warned Samantha, "Be careful, there's a pit here."
After warning her, he lit a fireball above an outstretched hand (for illumination) and gently levitated down the shaft for about 30 feet.

Sammy just smiled brighty and nodded, picking her footing carefully as she followed him into the growing darkness. Suddenly Sammy felt realy nervous. They'd had lectures in school about going off with strangers. Folding her arms around herself, she copied his motion, making her own, tiny ball of glowing white light appear, it danced just out round her feet.

As he descended, he pointed out a small ledge that wound downwards from the top to the bottom of the shaft to Samantha. "It's not that wide, but it's still an alternate way to travel up or down if you can't levitate or teleport." Reaching the bottom, he then strode off inside a second tunnel leading to a red glow. The first source of the red glow was revealed to be in a small niche in the tunnel wall.
"Hello," said Henry to the glow, petting the source a bit, which turned out to be a brightly glowing lizard-like creature. Pausing only briefly to do so, he continued on and repeated the action at several niches down the tunnel, till it opened into a large cavern.
The cavern was quite large (OOC: For lack of a better description, the cavern is larger in space than the pack manor), and with the presence of several stalagmites and stalactites, was shown to be natural. However, the presence of several tunnels leading out of the cavern, with signs carved above them, showed that it was not wholly natural. The most unnatural thing first present was a glass-like pillar in the center of the cavern stretching to the ceiling, with fire seemingly contained within.
Turning to Samantha, Henry said, "So, what do you think?"

(ooc: stop occing me in posting, maybe re-read the rules there?)
Samantha looked from him the ledge hopped onto it. Being an elf made her light on her feet, and she danced lightly along th ledge, following it down into the stomach of the cave. She followed behind his red glow, and her little light glowed at her feet.
At the lizard, she smiled, watching it curiously, and smiling. It was really very cute. She waved, as Henry petted it, before failling him once more. As they continued in the darkness Sammy began finding herself thinking that Henry was very odd, very essentric but further more she decided she had a dislike for caves and tunnels and being in the side of mountains. The thought of something collapsing overcame her, and she hung back.
His voice brought her out of internal panic. "Is this where you live?"

Henry considered the possible responses, and simply replied, "Yes." Heading to a nearby shelf, he put his staff into an empty niche sized for it, and took off his cloak as well, revealing his rock and leather armor fully. Taking a step back, he stretched a bit, then turned back to Samantha. Smiling a bit lopsidedly, he said, "This is the third time I've invited a visitor into my home...and the second time for you." He added the second bit, thinking of the first time he went to the marketplace, and met Logan and Sam.
"Ah yes, you didn't meet them last time did you. My pets?" Making a small gesture, Henry beckoned to the small creatures skirting the edges of the shadows. En masse, they crawled and flew to Henry, who laughed as he caressed the various wyverns and salamanders.
(OOC: sorry for these OOC's...for the description of the wyverns & salamanders...the journal post <http://twiggeneration.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=caveblood&action=display&thread=210> would describe them more fully.)

She shook her head, watching curiously. "Hello."

"It hasn't been long since I've seen them last," chuckled Henry. "But they still like to fawn over me when I let them. Want to pet them?"
