"They prefer wolves. Lycan's is what the humans call them, and werewolf is crude. They believe the mother built them in the image of her most precious and perfect work." She smiled up at him, adding softly. "And- Miss Jordyn talks of people getting chased out of the pack- uh- their family, when they turn against the alpha. If the people, as you say, moved away; then they must of been a threat to the Alpha."
She shrugged.
Sammy jumped down the platform, and skidded across the slate rocks, before laughing and letting the wind catch her as she stopped a little away. "Come on!" She called.

"Alright, I'm coming I'm coming," Henry called back. He not-so-lightly jumped off the platform, and invoked his levitation spell so he didn't crash onto the rocks below. Then he moved off relatively slowly after Samantha, taking care not to fall down what with the loose slate from the platform falling earlier still present.

Being an elf obviously made her light and lighter on her feet. Everything she did was with grace and she smiled now as Mr Henry joined her. "I'm going to take you to the doe- they do the best steak- or at least thats what Parker and my Dad say; apparently Steak is a real mans meal." She shrugged, and laughed sweetly.

Henry smiled as Samantha gracefully darted around. The "doe"? Henry shrugged, and instead asked, "What can I pay with...I've got gold and gems, but no coins or bills or whatever money is normally accepted..."
"Wait. Is this 'doe' place in the marketplace? If so, I can teleport us there faster...or you can blink there and I can join you in the marketplace..."

"Whats wrong with walking?" She asked him, with a smile. "And we don't pay, my Mom has like a little bill thing set up for me and my friends."

Raising an eyebrow, Henry replied, "Walking is all well and good, but isn't it a far distance away?" Shrugging with a smile, he continued on walking, staff crunching into the ground at measured intervals.

"Are you not able to walk far?" She asked, thinking maybe he was old.

Henry put on a mock affronted face and replied, "I'm able to walk far...it's just eh...," he shrugged and then smiled. "I'm just too lazy to walk to places I've been before, I suppose."
