Caine sat at Reenie's kitchen table, stirring her coffee with a spoon. It wasn't unusual to find the two women together; Occasionally joined by Yaz and or Bronwyn. Today though, it was just the two of them- Their kids were playing in the living room. Yes, kids. Both had brought another in the world with their respective mates. Caine's daughter, Keia, had been a bit of a surprise. She'd been pregnant before she even realized it... As her best friend and Charlie had talked about having a baby, plotted and planned, it had just happened to her and her mailman. And it hadn't been easy. Kin had left for a bit, running away and Caine had moved into the manor. Though she did spend many a night with Reenie, discussing her options. Unlike her, Caine wasn't a good wolf. Under all her bristles, Saterine still was a Snare and she'd never truly considered any of the options Caine did. She never went to the doctors office and discussed those options... But in the end, after speaking to Cal, she couldn't go through with any of it either. And then Kin came back. Her pregnancy had lasted six months, right in between that of a wolf and a human. Her daughter was a mixed breed, half pack, half dog in her form. It had stirred a whole nother battle in her... But that was all in the past. Now her own little blond, with big blue eyes so much like her Daddy's, was toddling around and had even started talking. Every day it seemed like she was She could hear Keia babbling to her best friend Willa. The two were disgustingly cute together as they shared toys, juice and cookies. And, secretly, Caine loved it.

Saterine had just put dinner on, expecting the boys back soon. Kin and Charlie had a little bromance going so it was no surprise their girls had gotten together for survival purposes. Like Caine, Reenie still kept her edge. They hadn't totally settled into the cutesy, mumsy brain mush life... But she was enjoying being a mother this time round. Not that that meant she was favoring one over another. Raising a boy, in comparison to raising her little chubby ray of sunshine, was much much different. Keegan was and would always her buddy. Though Charlie, whom Keegan now called Dad, was apparently much cooler because he was a lad. Reenie always rolled her eyes and blamed comments like that on sainted Uncle Zeke. “Keeg! Can you get the girls washed up for lunch?” She called to her son who was now a whopping seven years old. Seven. She didn't feel old enough to have a child who was closer to a decade than not... But she did love the attention he gave to both his sister and Caine's girl. “Gotta love having help.” She teased, stirring the sauce. Hearing the door crack open, an the dueling banjos of their guys' voices, she smirked, “The fun has arrived.”

The boys came in laughing and joking. They'd been out for a run, something they did most morning, and they they had been into the market to pick up some groceries for dinner. Coming into the room to see Keegan getting the girls sorted out, they laughed, and together tackled the little lad, throwing him between them roughly, laughing and joking and just being the good spirited men they always were.

"Well if it isn't dumb and dumber." Reenie appeared in the doorway, leaning with her arms crossed against her chest. She watched amused as they rough housed with Keegan, laughing softly. "Will you put the boy down and be useful for once? Like set the table or serve up?"

"Isn't that what women are for?" Charlie teased, knowing he'd get an ass kicking.
Kin chuckled, but did as he was told...in the way he was trained.

Saterine's eyebrow arched as she tugged him in closer, nudging his nose with her own. "Say that again-" She dared, kissing him and giving his lip a rough tug.

He chuckled into her mouth. "Women belong in the kitchen?" He grinned naughtily, winking at her, and running to hide behind the seven year old lad.
"Digging a grave mate." Came Kin's irish accent, he'd nearly finished laying the table any hows.

Keegan looked up with a naughty grin, "What did you do this time, Dad?"
"Bad Charwee!" Keia grinned, giggling. Her Daddy had taught her to say that mostly when she heard Auntie Ree be cross.
