Cal turned, "Frey holds grudges, it's better to nip that now."

Xila nodded. She was used to people disliking her so she couldn't expect much difference in Gaia. Even if they did share common ground.
"I'll stay downstairs then." She stated, taking a seat on the sofa.

He rolled his eyes, "That's not what I meant."

"Oh." She said embrassed. She looked around wondering what she should do. "What should I do then?" She asked.

Xila stared at him. "You want me to go up stairs with an upset demon and a pissed off werewolf? Do I look suicidal?" She asked as she stared up the stairs. She breathed in deeply. She knew if she waited a while it would make things worse for her. She needed to stay in Gaia for now and pissing off one member of the pack was going to make it much harder when it came to meeting the rest of the pack. Better to make up now than have an entire pack rip her to shreds.
“Fine.” She stated. Seeing Cal smile made her feel calmer about the situation, but that didn’t stop her shaking as she used the banister to her up the stairs.

Freya and Dell sat in the rocking chair as Mother fed the little blond. She looked up and, as Xila came in the room, she cooed happily and pointed. Her Mom looked between her and Per and settled into a silence. "I'm sorry I overreacted." Freya admitted softly. She could smell the woman's fear. "I just don't react well to people I don't know reminding me of who I used to be- Because, honestly, you have no idea."

"Don’t apologise. You’re right. I don't know and I'm sorry." Xila admitted. "I only get glances at people's pasts. But even so I should know better to keep my mouth shut at things that can hurt people." She stared down at her hands, fidgeting them slightly.
“I can’t control my visions, or what I see. I can’t control my transformations sometimes or how I react when I’m a...” She trailed off. It wasn’t something she liked to associate herself with. She stared at the girl now, who looked at her with concern. It took Xila a second to realise she was crying slightly. She wiped the tear away with her arm quickly.
“I need help.” She admitted.
