Race:

Appearance:
Being your average, cute little girl isn’t easy. Of course it comes with necessity, such as a button nose, glowing eyes and the widest cheekiest grin known to mankind. Luckily Sam has those things. Dark haired and blue eyed she’s the modern day snow white.
She’s just over 3ft, a tiny slender little girl that makes her even cuter. She’s a tiny package of sugar and spice and all things nice. Sam keeps her hair short and dresses as she wishes, whether those clothes match up or not.
The special thing about Sam is her pointed ear.
Icon:
Celebrity:
Sammi Hanratty
Personality:
Sam is shy and quiet around new people she can seem withdrawn to the point where some less patient adults wonder if any of the lights are turned on. They are, and when she’s in a comfortable place and when she’s relaxed she’s very happy and confident, a very lovable little girl.
Like all elves, she’s good-natured, with the need to please people and make those around her happy and safe. It’s in her nature to be innocent, and innocent is what she does best.
Although, being an orphan with no one to take care of her, Sam is contained and hesitant with anything she doesn’t trust or understand. She relied heavily on her instincts.
History:
Sam was born to two low class elves, her father was a soldier in the war and her mother was a cook. Sam never knew either of them. When she was born her parents were too young, too inexperienced and not ready for children. They were just married, according to elfin law, and Samantha wasn’t an option they were prepared for.
So they disguised her as a mortal, leaving her in a little village in the rolling valleys of Wales. She was picked up by an orphanage and in her early years moved from foster home to foster home.
But despite the mountains and the rivers, the greenery and the tiny little coal tip houses the Valley’s weren’t home to Sam. She could never settle. It just didn’t sit with her right.
Her newest foster family could see there was something different about her and in a sense the family betrayed her. They didn’t understand what they were doing of course, being so far away from being in the chaos of the ‘real world’ and the metropolis.
The family journeyed with the girl to London, where they searched out a group of doctors who could help their pointy-eared doctor. The Evans family were given three thousand pound and sent on their way, Samantha was no longer their worry.
From the age of six she grew up within a facility, questioned and tested, ill-treated and punished for being different, a difference she didn’t understand.
The facility was raided and shut down, and Sam, along with about thirty others found herself in a new land. Confused and along she took hiding in the cellar of the local inn.
Lucky she was found, and the landlord took her to Gaia’s school one Monday morning, hoping there’d be friendship and freedom for her there.
Anything Else:
Sam doesn’t know how to engage her powers yet. She’s weak because she’s never been taught to harness it and she’s never meditated to unlock it. Though she’s an elf, on arriving in Gaia she’s as powerless as a mortal.
