Personality: Aram's always been a dreamer. He has plans and ambitions, all that he keeps up in his head. Its part of his creative personality- He wouldn't be where he is today without all of those designs he keeps within himself.
As much as he seems to be silent and cool, he is a sensitive soul. He feels strongly and maintains an honor that seems almost archaic to those he loves and cares for.
History:
Aram was born in the poorer part of Miriel. Not that any of Miriel is really destitute but he didn't grow up among the Lords or Ladies of Elfdom. He and his brother helped out in his father's store while his Mother was a bit of a healer to those around her. She was a firm believer that they needed to live beyond their magic- An idea that didn't always go over so well among their peers.
Growing up, he and his brother Errol were each other's best friends and playmates. They entertained the idea of being part of the Kings guard. They had been ushered in with the age of King Jay and Queen Noel, an era of a more tolerant Miriel, one strongly united with the Immortal throne. They would play Humans and Elves- And Aram always had to play the human. When he was 12, the game actually became a little too real and Errol accidently shot Aram with an arrow. Luckily, their mother's roasting pan took most of the brunt, strapped to his back as armour.
Aram took on an apprenticeship when he was fourteen to help his family with money. He worked under the Master jeweller to Miriel and Gaia. The man was old and feeble, and a bit of an alcoholic. Once he realized the talent that Aram had with gold, silver and jewels, he was delighted by his new ward- And had no problems taking credit for his works.
As most elves, he had a betrothed who also happened to be one of his best friends. Laurella was a classic elf beauty: tall, blond, dumb as a stick… So when another elf proposed to end her engagement to Aram, to give her a life of luxury, she snapped it up and left Aram a broken hearted sixteen-year old.
So Aram did what he and Errol always said- He left home and a promising apprenticeship and became a soldier. For the first few years, he was just a cadet, staying within Miriel. He was mostly responsible for castle guard duty, walking the canopy- Boring stuff that gave him too much to think. Until one day our little dreamer found someone that inspired him again: The Princess Cadee Godric- Black. It was love at first sight for him… And she didn't know he was alive.
So his affection grew from afar. When it was time to become an actual soldier, on his Wish Day, he lost his sanity temporarily and asked for Cadee's hand in marriage. The Royal family lost all decorum- And the crowned Prince Bradley even physically attacked him. Later on, when he was in the barracks, he met Prince Aaron and the two came to some sort of understanding- After all, hadn't they both joined the military for the good of a woman?
The two fought side by side and when they came home, they bought a farm together to raise their respective families. Aram worked on building a house he promised Cadee and they learned to know each other and even began to fall in love. On leave, Aaron arranged for both of them to be released from active duty to personal service to Queen Beth. Aram was excited to be out of combat- But the week before he was granted leave, he stepped in front of Aaron to protect him and lost his arm.
The elf is now back in Gaia and working on making life as normal as possible. He's trying to cope and learn his place within this world. Of course, Cadee is at his side and that does make things easier.
The Last Two Years: The last two years for Aram have been perfect. Or so he sees it. He married his beloved Cadee and built her a house. With his best friend and brother in law, they reopened and fixed up Acorn Farms and built a life there. Working for Queen Beth, Aram was kept on staff as the royal jeweler and artist. Caleb, Cadee's mentor of sorts, rebuilt his arm, giving him a feeling of physical wholeness to go along with the happiness that filled the rest of his life. Cadee gave him a son in the winter of the first year of their marriage. Oliver was the light of their lives.
Over the last year, they have set up the farm to provide Gaia with food and necessities. The life may not be easy but it is rewarding. He and Cadee have only grown closer and more in love. His devotion to her is pure and despite the fights he's had with her brother and cousins, he's proven that.
Anything Else:
Physical Appearance:
Aram has two tattoos:
This first is an arrow wound that he has on his right shoulder blade. It covers up a scar from where his brother accidently nicked him with an arrow when they were kids. The second one is a representation of the Goddess as he sees her- Aram's faith is strong, as he was raised in Miriel, but he is quiet about it.
