Tex had left Maggie a memo at work, having talked to her secutary more than he had her recently. They'd seemed to have gone their seperate ways recently. He was working part time for her father, at 7 music, and studying for his Bar exams, the exam which he'd taken just before christmas (and was to appease his father). Tex had no intention of becoming part of his fathers law firm after all Gwyn's offer was completely irrisitable. Still, the lawyer training wasn't going to go a-miss, it was going to be useful in the long run.
Still, after a long day of work he came home to find the loft flat empty-again. Tex sighed, and called Maggies office, to be told she was working late, and he knew she had a show coming up, and that her life was as choatic as his was.
So Tex left a message, to have Maggie meet him in 'Dorio's Resturant' at 8pm. It was a swish place and if she'd been working all day the chances were she hadn't of eaten much.
Now he sat, on a table for two, drinking from a glass of rum, and enjoying the heat of the fire near their table. His eyes watched the snow falling all around the outside world. Tex didn't however, look up every time the door went, if Maggie was going to be there, she was going to be there. If she wasn't he'd eat without her. It was a date, but stand up wasn't something Tex was worried about. He loved Maggie, and he trusted that if she wanted to be there, she would.

Magdalene Christos was creating a name for herself. She was being featured in fashion magazines like Vogue to rags like OK but even gossip rags are spreading your name, right? She was being described as a fresh air to RSL and it was being whispered that several other big designers were trying to steal her away. Not to mention her fiancee was none other than Tex Douglas- Former sex god and rock star. She seemed to be living the Hollywood dream.
Only it came with a price. She never saw Tex- And most of her time was spent between the office and running around doing a million other things. And he was strapped to text books. More and more often, Tam, Keely or Freya (or a combination of those three) were appearing with her at public events- The paparazzi had even labeled them the 'Bow Hos' and they were fashions most popular accessory. When her secretary brought her in a note, she canceled a dinner meeting and made her way through the streets of New York.
Slipping into the restaurant, she exchanged cutesy hugs with the m'aitre de and he lead her to the table, pulling out the chair for her. She thanked him and then looked at the man across from her. Leaning back, Maggie crossed her legs and smiled. "Heya, stranger."

"I'm sorry I'm waiting for my girlfriend-" he teased her, taking her hand across the table.

Mags smiled softly and let herself relax, "Can I just say I missed your sense of humor?" She teased and leaned across the table to give him a deep kiss.

He stroked his fingers through her hair, kissing her back sweetly. "I missed your kiss-" He murmured, letting her sit back.

"I kiss you every night when I come into bed. It's not my fault if you're sleep." She kept his hand in hers, smiling softly at him.

"It's not my fault you get in late the days I get in early, and I get in late the days your in early." He was teasing her though. "Who did you blow off this time for me?"
