Upon my re-entry to civilization of late, I've decided it's best to remove the rogues from the sides of the mountain I'm residing in. Naturally, they would pose a hazard to any friendly people who would come visit. However, if the visitors were disinclined to treat with me in a friendly manner, the rogues would probably do little other than serve as a beacon to my residence.
Therefore, I've gone out and culled quite a few of the rogue salamanders already. It's pity, but I've seen some regression in their traits since their release, with a few mortally immolating themselves after a couple of fire-blasts.
The wyverns, on the other hand, have had some improvements since their release, with a couple of throw-backs as well. The ones who lost their projectile abilities were easily culled, but a few of them seem to have merged the acidic and venomous properties of their spittle, thereby creating a more volatile and dangerous mixture. I have yet to completely experiment on them, and so I've captured a few of the new breed instead of culling them.
I think I've seen a couple of wolf tracks in my latest culls, so I think it's good that I'm culling my creations. The natural order of predators and prey might rebalance themselves, now that the unnatural predators are gone.
