Appearance: How do you describe Jaden? Well, for a start, he’s pretty tall falling a few millimetres short of 6ft 7; he’s far from being vertically challenged. Well built, with toned muscles rather than a ‘woah! Beast boy!’ body he is a lot stronger than he looks, something he has to be with his current role in life. His eyes are bright Amber, reminiscent to liquid gold and when he gets angry then his eyes will convert to the eyes of his wolf, a rare feat that can require amongst most a lot of will power, and yet comes to Jaden naturally.
He prefers to keep his brown hair short, styled with a brush and not much else. It falls quite straight with the slightest of waves and when it gets too long he is constantly batting it away from his eyes with his large paw like hands. No, really, they are rather large.
Jaden is tall, as afore mentioned, though his height does not really come from his legs (though they are indeed long) but more from the torso. Plus, it gives you an excuse to look at his washboard abs. Comfortable in his skin, he would sooner walk around nekkid than he would wear clothes, as it makes the phasing process a lot simpler, but rules will be rules, and clothes happen to be one of them.
Apart from this, Jaden’s body is covered with fine scars, some older than the others. He doesn’t hide them, but rather is proud of them – it shows just what he has lived through. Plus, they tickle when drip runs her fingers across them, and his son asks his daddy what they are, and how he got them – of course Jaden doesn’t tell him the entire truth.

Personality:
Jaden is boisterous, flamboyant and a reluctant Pack Alpha.
Jaden is a lively guy, he enjoys having fun, though he is also the kind of guy who knows everyone, but is friends with only a few, and close to fewer still. Boisterous, he is always full of energy, and the only time he lags in this energy is after a change, but even then it is never to the extent of what the other wolves do – perks of being the head of the pack. Like a wolf he has amazing stamina, and runs a couple of laps of the wood every day simply so that he is not bouncing of the walls when he has to sit through hours of nothingness.
But, Jaden is also a wary soul, growing with beatings has made him suspicious of people, not to all people, but some; those that remind him of his brothers and father. But these beating have also made him stronger – head strong he talks before thinking and would sooner let his fists talk than try and work out an argument in a civilised manner. He carries an aura of authority with him that can fill a room.
Jaden does have a sweet spot, though it is hard to find. As the Pack Alpha he holds complete authority over them, he gives an order and the pack must obey. Of course, it is not often he will give an order, he isn’t that kind of person, but it’s hard not to let that kind of power go to your head. Then he requires the services of his best friend and his mate, Bronwyn, whom he lovingly refers to as drip.
Protective, He would do anything to his pack- and his extended pack, even if he can be a heard headed fool who can’t see what is right in front of his eyes. But, now his pack is gone and he bears the scars that reveal this side of his personality. Now his protection is towards Drip, and his four year old son Dylan.
History:[/b
Jaden was born different, and the youngest of seven brothers. He grew quickly and could crawl before most children could hold their heads up and look around. From the very beginning, Jaden could see hear and smell the things that others could not, he was adventurous bold and fascinated by the world beyond the bars of his cot, and when he could look out of it, the world beyond his window.
At first his parents thought they had given birth to a baby genius, he advanced quickly and grew fast, learning to walk and read before he had time to talk, they were immensely proud of their son, and ray of light in a world that had otherwise gone black by the shadow of the immortal children – the monsters of the night.
Jadens father was high up in the ranks of the Government, so much so that he had influential power and a direct line to the prime minister. Their son was a blessing, and David smith was the proudest father in the world. At least until Jadens first birthday rolled around.
On the night of that fateful day, as the full moon rose high over the clouds, Jaden began to have fits. He convulsed and ran a temperature so high that the sweat barely had time to touch his skin before it evaporated. His father could into touch him through fear of getting burnt and his mother could only weep. That night, Jaden phased for the first time and it would change his life forever.
Disgusted by what he had fathered, David told the world that his son, his boy wonder, had fallen ill during the night and died. He played the part perfectly, the grieving father to the family that was falling apart.
Jaden’s mother, unlike his father, still loved the little boy. Indifferent to the tales, the stories, the myths, she refused to believe that her baby was a monster, the horrid names that David called him. She threatened her husband with divorce, and one day she simply disappeared. David could not afford the public embarrassment that would accompany the nasty divorce. Like her son, the world was told that Emily Smith had fallen ill during the night and died.
Now life really went downhill.
Jaden became a recluse, taught by a nanny he was kept in a renovated basement. For eight long years, Jaden forgot what it was like to have brothers, to be loved and the freedom that had once been his. He spent the moon filled nights in a cage, tied like a dog with silver chains that burnt his flesh, but where the only thing that could contain him. He forgot what it was like to see daylight.
Soon after, his sister Anna joined him in his cage, in his chains. It was then that he vowed to get her out.
Then, through a miracle, Jaden managed to get out, and took Anna wth him, pulling her along by her six year old hand and out into the freedom of sunlight and the day, out into the street of upper-class oxford. Out here he found people who greeted them, out here he found his pack.
Though he did not stay in oxford for long, escaping instead to the freedom of Canada, Jayden stayed with his pack, working his way through the ranks of lycans, Anna always by his side, his voice of reason when he lost his head. He soon became friends with the Alpha, and within five years he was in a position o power, the pack second. He didn’t want to be alpha, nor did he want the power he had been given – perhaps this was why he fitted the role so perfectly.
Then, when Jayden was sixteen the Alpha died, killed by hunters and their silver bullets. He became the unwitting Alpha, but Alpha none the less, and moved his pack further north, and to the safety of the forests.
It was here, when Jayden was leading the pack on their moonlight run that Anna came to him with news of a girl in a tree. Curiosity got the best of him and he spent the night at the base, waiting for morning and for her to wake up. However, he was more than a little surprised when she fell on top of him, screaming.
Of course, then she fainted, and Jayden carried her back to the packs home, he ran a democracy and it was up to them to decide what to do, not his decision alone. Some wanted to kill her, others to turn her, but it was Anna, Jaden's little sister and normally a voice of reason, said they should do neither. She opted to be her watcher, take care of her until they could make a choice. The pack begrudgingly accepted the idea and the little wolf earned herself a new set of responsibilities. The two girls became close as they helped each other survive in the pack. Meanwhile, the Jayden watched. The more in tune with their life they became, the more he liked what he saw... And Bronwyn slowly found herself becoming attached to the wolf.
ATheir courtship was a lot of circling around each other. Of course, Anna told Jaden all the things the little elemental told her about him- Though Drip had no idea. One night, after about a month of games, Jaden came to her rooms... And the rest as they say is history. They were good together, found love and caring in each other's arms and it made things easier on them both. Soon, Bronwyn found herself pregnant with their first son, Dylan. The little wolf was born on a bright winter morning.
Another stranger was soon to enter their midst- A young wolf named Carslile. He joined the pack and right away, he had a report with Anna- One that Bronwyn encouraged and Jayden disliked, forever the protective big brother. He lived with the pack for almost a year before he told them he had to go back to his own, and he asked Jaden for Anna to be his mate. Although the Alpha was weary, he saw how much they loved each other and gave permission and life went on.
But soon after that, things went downhill. A group of Red Hands, having made friends with the new Prime Minister came hunting the pack. They tried to escape but the soldiers got most of them. Jaden, fought as many of them as he could, killing score, but the dead were always replaced by another. Soon they were forced to escape, his pack already dead and they went on the run. They wandered for a while but both of them needed the sense of security that had come with having a pack. They scouted around and heard that Anna had gone to Gaia with her mate and his family. The family, scared but knowing it needed to be done, set out on the long joureny to make it across the border.
