Name: Talia Oaks
Age:20
Birthday: September 8
Race: Immortal
Species: Elf
Family: Parents: Barthus and Emily Oak
Sister: Ruby
Appearance: To look at Talia at first, you wouldn't necessarily see anything at special at first. Normally, she is covered in dye and dust from the looms. She cleans up nicely though. Her skin has the softest of caramel tones to it, appearing warmer when she wears her burnt cinnamon hair down and lets it swirl around her bust line. Following the edible theme, her chocolate eyes have been known to both melt and freeze those that get caught in its gaze. Her frame is plain but you can see strength in her body- She isn't a girl who has had everything handed to her. Her hands are constantly spotted with unnatural shades, especially around her cuticles, from working the dye pots.

Celebrity Claim: Danneel Harris
Personality: On the most basic, Talia is practical. Growing up with humble beginnings, she's had to learn to scrimp and save to make ends meet and it's a habit she's carried over. She rarely rushes into anything- with the exception of Aaron. In fact, a lot of things because of the fact Talia has found love and all for the better. She's lost some of her serious nature and has become much more willing to smile. Though, having a husband as a soldier hasn't lessened her worrying.
History: Talia was born to a lower class family in Miriel. Her mother was a seamstress and her Father was a healer. They lived in the lowest area of trees where the upper class rarely ventured. Life wasn't horrible but they worked for everything they had. Her Mother worked for a few of the upper families as their personal dresser and her father split his time between the classes, healing as well as he could.
Because the Oaks spent so much time with others, their youngest daughter sometimes went without the care she so often wanted. Her older sister, six years her elder, did the best she could to make sure Talia didn't wander off or get in too much trouble. Sometimes a trying task.
When Ruby was sixteen she got a spot in a manor house for a rich family. The Elders also employed Emily on a part time occasion. Ruby would come and clean while her sister would sit in a corner and entertain herself. Normally she played with a doll or drew on scraps of paper. She never let her out of her sight though- Talia had a tendency to daydream and get lost. The one day Ruby did though, something happened. She found Talia in the library in tears. The huge rug that covered the wooden floor was completely unravelled. It had been an accident of the magical kind. Whenever she moved her hands, the strings seemed to move serpentine. Ruby shook her little sister, begging her to put it back. She tried, really hard, but the pattern came out differently. The two sisters left the library, swearing not to tell.
But Ruby broke the promise and told their mother. At first Emily didn't believe her, thinking her elder daughter was just trying to get her sister in trouble. Then things started to become unravelled around the house-towels, sweaters, even the curtains. She took Talia to the head of the weaver's guild. Although young, the older elf saw something in her potential and let her practice on the looms.
This is where Talia's life takes a somber turn. She spent hours on the looms and in the dye rooms. Her skill became the most widely admired in Miriel and she brought honor to the guild. But she never left. Never interacted, socialized or was young. She went from childhood to the world of work. She was betrothed like any other elf but never took the time to meet him more than once or twice. He didn't have any use to her.
It was the spring of her eighteenth year when she met Aaron. Fate intervened and let her see part of its stitching. All day, a silver thread had been in her eyes, and she couldn't get it to go away. Finally on her lunch break, she followed the shiny string and ended up in the middle of a street- A young man walked right into her but caught her before she fell. She was amazed to see the thread was leading straight from his chest. For weeks after that, she saw the blond every where- Pointing him out to her sister as she watched from afar, Ruby told her who he was: Prince Aaron Black. When he finally spoke with her, she asked him what took him so long.
The problem arose after a year and a half of secret love that he wanted her to be his wife and Talia was in love with him too but that anonymous fiancé stood in the way. Daisy, his sister in law and Talia's first real employer, told him to join the army in jest. Only he took her seriously. He didn't listen to reason, insisting he would do this for them. Before he left, she asked him to give her a child and he did. Now, when he arrives home for the birth of their child, they plan on getting married.
