"I have no clue where to from here. My family scattered, & it's not safe to track them down. It would be nice to just stay somewhere for awhile & not havta look over my shoulder every 5 seconds. No one else misses me, that's for sure." Lexi paused for a moment, hesitant. "Where were you heading before you spotted me?"

"Home." She told her, bluntly but not unkindly.

"I see. I told you a bit about my home, what's yours like? No doubt you have family missing you. I bet you come from a big family. You reached out to me - That shows a kindness that most only children would not possess."

Jordyn laughed; "I was one of nine, though by your age I'd lost two brothers and my father-" And she had been the leader of the pack since, well at least until she handed it over to Cal recently. Still, the girl wasn't to know that. The wind swept around them and the older wolf pulled her jumper sleeves down, holding her knees.
"my home... is along way from here. Its a....legendary place." Jordyn said cautiously.

Lexi's ears perked up at the use of the word legendary, and she fought the remnants of her excited inner pup at the possibility of a story. As if any sort of happily-ever-after exists anymore. Instead, her cynical side reared raising an eyebrow.
"Legendary? Like 'tales told round a campfire'? Have I heard of this place? You'll have to forgive me... I'm a bit jaded to believe in legends anymore, but you have piqued my curiousity. What is it like there? The landscape, the people. It may be a nice place to escape to. I could certainly use a change of scenery."

Jordyn twitched an eyebrow and laughed at her gently. But she humoured the cub gentle in her tone. "I don't know- how many imaginary places have you heard of?"

"Ones in fairytales obviously, with princesses in serious need of a haircut locked away in towers & halfwit princes galloping in on white horses to save them... Those kind don't exist nowadays I'm pretty sure." Lexis smiled a crooked smile & chuckled, shaking her head.

"If kings and queens do, then why can't princess and princes?" She asked, but without sentiment.
