"Oh come now, you're not that old, I'm sure. Lots of time left for new tricks." She chuckled.

Lexi cocked her head to one side. "You're not just talking about the chill of the weather anymore, are you?"

Jordyn chuckled gently, "no kid, I guess not." But she wasn't about to be coaxed into a conversation about it. "Come on, coffee-"

((Sorry babe. I'm on it now!))
Jordyn led most of the way in silence relatively thoughtful silence at that. Thinking about the girl, and her place. She was out here alone, and no wolf should of been alone, its not the way they were born, its not the way they should live. But then, reflecting it back in her own life, hadn't Jordyn always been alone until recently. Yeh, there was River. Her husband, and she'd loved him, when she was a girl, when they had the twins, when he was fun an adventure. Then he turned nasty. His true, live by the mortal way colours- the same as his father. And Jordyn had had the boys, but they were too young to really understand.
Now there was Cal, and there was this baby; and that was going to upset everyone. Tucker was the only part of her family she had left. Her son or her lover- and she prayed she didn't have to choose between them.
She got them both Coffee's, paying and sitting in the window seat with the girl. "So- where are you going from here?" She asked casually.

Lexi jumped a little, but not at the question. She burned her mouth on the coffee and fought back a yelp. She set the cup down far from her before she answered. "Well this place seems all right, a little ghostly, but I was thinking of bunking down here for a bit before continuing...well I can go anywhere really, any direction except backwards." She smiled across the seat. "Actually no, I won't stay here. Give me a city name & I'll go there. Where do you think I should go next? It's like my own Choose Your Own Adventure book... You ever read one of those? I'm living one."

"I can't tell you what to do." Jordyn laughed, pulling mini mashmallows out of her bag. "Its your decision."
